The Outsiders is ab disclose a low-class gang c entirelyed the Greasers. They are called Greasers because they everlastingly grease their hair back. The Greasers is eternally going through nigh rough times. They lived in a not so solid neighborhood and they dont have a megabucks of money. Meanwhile, the other gang, The Socs have the perfect life. They have corvettes, and money. The Socs are of all time looking to bring forth up a Greaser so the Greasers and the Socs are like rivals
chiggerboy is the main character of the book. knotboy is the youngest of the Greasers. Two-Bit is the oldest of the Greasers. Darryl is jiggermastboys brother. Dallas is the toughest of the greasers, Sodapop always makes people smile. Bob is a Socs that try to kill Ponyboy. red is a Socs that kind of gets along with the Greasers. Steve is Darryls best friend.
The problem of the book is that the Greasers have no parents, no money, are looked vote out on and blamed for everything and mess up and become sinful of a lot of things but they are really considerably boys. One outcome of the story is that when the Greasers left from the movies they took two Socs with them. That night, freedom fighter and Pony fall asleep in the lot, when Pony returns home, Darry hits him out of anger. Pony and knot run to the park and there the Socs attack. They beat Johnny up pretty badly and left him fictionalization there.



Pony was being drowned in the fountain by all the other socs (including Cherry and Marcias boyfriends) Johnny pulls out a knife and killed Bob, Cherrys boyfriend. Ponyboy and Johnny run to Dally for help. He gives Johnny and Pony 50$ and a pistol. They hop a train to Windrixville and cover in an abandoned church on top of Jays mtn. In the end the church burned down with children in them. Dally, Pony, and Johnny save them. Dallys hand is broken, Johnny is badly burned and Pony is knocked out. Later, Two- bit and Pony visit Johnny and Dally in the hospital. Dally is funny as usual but Johnny is not doing so well.
