In the current study, screening of twelve isolates of leatherneck microalgae for biomass production and lipid accumulation was carried out. The data analyses nether controlled lab conditions i.e f/2-si medium was used with 27±0.5ºC, pH - 7.8±0.2 and 1660 µE/s/m2 light intensity with 24 hrs photoperiods. unconstipated though all the twelve algal isolates have the aptitude of storing lipids (detected by Nile Red fluorescents), algal isolates S5 and MCU were performed in terms display high Specific Growth Ra ge (SGR) 0.209±0.008 and 0.183±0.014 respe! ctively. The dry biomass production vagabond of those algal isolates was 23.44±0.139 mg l-1 d-1 and 21.87±0.176 mg l-1 d-1. The selected two isolates were genteel under different nitrogen source with different initial nitrogen concentration. They showed different effects on total lipid and embrocate production in S5 and MCU. Urea was found to be the better(p) nitrogen source for high biomass production in MCU (76.60±0.92 mg l-1 d-1) and S5 (44.63±0.67 mg...If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: OrderEssay.net
