The God Boy is set in a fiction totallyy rural, New Zealand townspeople called Raggleton and a particular setting which stays vividly in the readers mind is the beach because Jimmy thinks of it so fondly. Jimmy lives in a fishing town so he is forever and a day within hearing rage of the beach.
