In movies train horns just seem so loud that you would depend they would be louder than your car radio. I guess train tracks are just more dangerous than I thought them to be. There is a trestle non far from my house that my friends and I walk on all the time, but Im not going to anymore. It still seems unbelievable that even with all the warnings and barriers that people still go out into the middle of the road. I mean they took drivers education too and so theyve been told about the dangers, but to them being on time must just be more important than their life.



Sometimes I wonder what must be going through a persons head that would make them think that what their doing is okay. I remember hearing about a train accident when I was little. The barrier didnt work mighty and so the guy didnt even think to check if a train was coming and just went around it anyway, and right hand when he did the opposite side barrier went down and he was trapped and killed on impact. I dont essential to ever be in that type of situation where Im defenseless, so I plan on heeding the jiffy lights whenever their on and doing my best to follow all the precautions that come with railway safety.
