An account of the night meeting by Jack Merridew

I just had got done eating our kill, the pig, when Ralph said he valued us to meet him down on the platform for a meeting, even though it was at night. We waited by the bathing jackpot for the assembly and as I was walking down with everybody. I sensed his grim mood and I knew he was barter the meeting or so the onset. The assembly was at night and I think that wasnt such a good idea, as the littluns were scared of the dark and this meeting wasnt good for them. Everybodys faces were different and the whole mood of the meeting was dark. Ralph blew the conch, and I and everyone demur the littluns sensed his anger as they didnt know about the ship on the horizon and the fire going out. Ralph proceeded to opine that we needed to have a real assembly without messing around, and I meetd with him?we needed to set things straight. He used the shells non getting filled with water as an example for the feature that we never get anything done. Ralph went on to shelters and that everyone had built the first shelter, exclusively then how he and Simon had built the rest. I knew he was directional it at me and my hunters because we were getting our food to survive on kind of of helping them built straw huts.



He told us if were taken short to not go by the fruit, and of argumentation all the littluns burst into laughter but were quickly geld off by Ralph. Then the inevitable happened and Ralph brought up the fire. I distracted myself by chipping some wood with my jab and whispered to Robert, Were gonna get it now! and he looked external as if in denial. He went on about how the fire is the most important thing on the island and then he declared that there wouldnt be anymore fires anywhere else except on the mountain.
I stood up and told Ralph hed talked and talked but he said he had the conch and so I sat down.
